This app (CONTEC COATING) and its associated website respect your privacy and are designed to collect as little data as possible.
1. WHAT DATA WE USE The app does not require an account or login. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or location data through the app.
When you use the “Find dealer” feature, you can enter a postal code or a city—this information is processed only locally on your device to display the nearest dealers.
2. CAMERA AND PHOTO LIBRARY The app requests access to the camera and photo library only if you choose to use the visualization or order scanner.
  • are processed locally on your device
  • are sent temporarily and encrypted to our AI service to generate a visualization
  • are NOT stored on our servers after processing
  • are NOT shared with third parties for marketing purposes
Generated visualizations can be saved to your photo library or shared at your discretion—this takes place only on your device.
3. DATA STORAGE ON THE DEVICE The app only stores the following data locally on your device:
  • Your selected language
  • Temporary order drafts in the order scanner (until you send or delete them)
This data does not leave your device without your action.
4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES An external AI provider is used for AI-based visualization. Images are sent solely to generate the requested result and are not stored after processing. No advertising or analytics services are used in the app.
5. CHILDREN The app is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
6. YOUR RIGHTS As we do not store personal data about you, there is no account or data to delete. You can remove the app from your device at any time to delete all locally stored data.
