Description
Description
CC SEALER WP BASE is a clear, aqueous, epoxy thin coat that is used as a ‘sealer base’ on new Contec Coating surfaces before applying CC SEALER PU TOP.
Substrate
Clean, dry, grease-free and sustainable substrate. The substrate temperature must be at least 10°C and above the dew point. The paint temperature must be 10°C-25°C. If the temperature is too high or too low, the flowability will be affected.
Application
CC SEALER WP BASE is supplied in a coordinated mixing ratio. If the entire set is not mixed, the components must be weighed carefully. The components are mixed thoroughly with suitable mixing equipment, e.g. a drill with a mixing propeller or agitator. Avoid whipping air into the mixture. Apply with a paint roller. Typically 60-80 g/m2/per layer is used. CC SEALER WP BASE is always used BEFORE CC SEALER PU TOP. In wet rooms, CC SEALER WP BASE must always be applied in at least two layers. The second layer can normally be applied 1-3 hours after the first. The varnish is fully cured after 5-7 days. CC SEALER WP BASE must be applied in a very thin and even layer. It is important that the varnish is applied in very thin layers. Applying layers that are too thick WILL result in bubbles.
Characteristics
Unique scratch resistance, chemical resistance, UV resistance and, most importantly, painting with CC SEALER WP BASE does not change the appearance of the item. This means that the painted item will not appear with a darker color tone or wet look.
ATTENTION! Do not mix more than you can use.
